Jimbaran beach connects the mainland of Bali to the Bukit Peninsula and offers a sandy white beach with 4km in distance. The water is serene blue with safe waves for you and your family to swim in or even just relaxing to enjoy the scenery. Going to the southern end near Four Seasons Hotel for the quietest spot or just anywhere, the beach in whole is still very pleasant.

Literally next to the villa compound a new lifestyle village has been recently build called SAMASTA which has a large and very tasteful selection of nice restaurants, bars and shops including a high-end grocery shop with lots of import groceries.

You can also find the famous Jimbaran beach seafood restaurants along the coast. Grab a table and a drink to enjoy the beautiful sunset and feast into the night. The restaurants has a unique way to serve their food; you go to the tanks, choose which seafood you want and they will prepare them the way you ask for right away! 

There are also other choices to pick if you want more convenient restaurants near the main roads.

SPORTS & ADVENTURES

Even though Jimbaran is the perfect place for relaxing and away from the busy areas, it still offers many exciting activities for tourists. One spot that cannot be ignored while in Bali is surfing. Jimbaran Beach has over 20 perfect spots for surfers waiting to catch some waves.

For those who want to see the view from above, you can try paragliding with the help of a professional guide to ease your fears away. If you want to go around for some retail therapy, Jimbaran has unique stores and boutiques although fewer than the tourist concentrated areas such as Legian, Seminyak and Kuta but not to be worried as the qualities are assured. The stores in Jimbaran are more high-end but unique as you might not be able to find them elsewhere in Bali.

With the area more focused on seafood or luxurious relaxation, there are very little selections of nightlife and most places closed before midnight but there are a few spots to enjoy if you do not want to go to the more crowded areas. Try going to the cafes, clubs or bars that are within the hotels nearby or cafes that offer live music and pubs.

SHORT BREAK TRIPS

To enhance your new experience, visit the neighboring islands like Gili Trawangan or mainland of Lombok that are also known as tropical paradises without leaving Bali for long but The beauty of Bali doesn’t stop at the tropical beaches or the magnificent culture.

Every area on the island offers different kinds of excitement, depending on what you are looking to do during your vacation. Going north from Jimbaran towards the uplands, the green, lush nature will welcome you in the area of Ubud. It is the place to get more in touch with nature by its terraced rice paddies to the famous Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Elephant Safari Park.

If you are up for more extreme adventures, go trekking up the active volcano, Mount Batur Bali that will only take 2 hours to be summited by physically fit hikers and see the sunrise and grace of the island from 1717 m above sea level.
